DeltaPlus USA's Bump Cap Meets New ANSI Standards

Update 05.05.25

Breakdown of New ANSI Bump Cap Standards

This significant update underscores DeltaPlus USA's unwavering commitment to providing the highest levels of quality, safety, sustainability, and innovation in its products. The company consistently strives to develop PPE solutions that not only meet but often exceed prevailing industry standards, ensuring optimal protection for workers across various sectors.

The new ANSI/ISEA 100-2024 standard introduces critical advancements in testing for head protection designed for low-impact scenarios. This standard is not a replacement for hard hats or safety helmets covered by ANSI/ISEA Z89.1.

Introduction of the Two Performance Levels

Level 1: Requires testing against an impact energy of 7.5J, including crown penetration tests, and single impacts to the front and back of the cap.

Level 2: Mandates testing against a higher impact energy of 12.5J, encompassing crown penetration and impact tests on critical areas like the crown and edges.
